10. The king-size bed downstairs at Dennis & Jill's house

Nieces

I love getting to know these little ones a bit more each time we visit family in Idaho. I only wish we lived closer. (I am sorry I don't have a picture of Alyssa from this trip. This summer for sure!)

Ruby Hanft

This weekend was a surprise 90th birthday party in Blackfoot, Idaho for Troy's Granmother Ruby. Her entire family was there, minus only a few, to partake in the celebration. It was a great success!

Get out your Bumpershoots!

Rain rain go away, come again some other day. Life at work is hectic right now. We are only barely recovering from the snow and now are being faced with rain. We have 20 claim employees who've traveled from all over the country to take over the handling of catastrophe claims. We have 1.000 and counting. Working in homeowners insurance I have come to dread storms. Used to love em...now not so much...unless I'm on vacation or off claim assignment. :)

Troy and I both started school this week. Go us! PoliSci and Sociology for me, Electrical Engineering classes for Troy. It is nice to be in school at the same time. We can motivate and complain to each other.

Game Night Extravaganza!!

Last night marked the kickoff of our monthly game-night extravaganza. Our friends Greg and Heather are HUGE board game fans...and I mean HUGE. Greg has collected boardgames from all over the world and owns approximately 400 games. So, seeing as how this is a common interest between the four of us, we have decided to get together once a month and play. We gather around 3pm and fuel up with food. Then let the games begin! Last night we played until midnight, and Troy would've kept going...however, I could not. We had such a great time. Next game night I will take a picture of Big Boss. Greg had this game custom made. It is absolutely beautiful. It is his all-time favorite, and isn't in production anymore, therefore it is worth a pretty penny. The game is completely made of aluminum. His friend milled the board and pieces, and engraved his initials into each building block of the game. The playing plates and figurines were made of anodized aluminum. We guess that he dedicated hundreds of hours to making it. I wish that Troy's family could be here to play with us...they would have loved it. (Especially Tyler B. and Tracy!!)
